Was a great stop on a long trip. I had the patty melt with french fries. They make home made french fries and they are amazing. My mom had the ham and bean soup. We then split the Coconut cream pie. All the food is home made. The place had a bunch of people. We will stop there again if we are ever back in Ely.
Had a Reuben Sandwich with onion rings. Both were solid versions, everything tasted the way it should, even better than expected in the case of the Reuben. Waitress kept our drinks full, food didn't take excessive amounts of time. All in all a solid Small Town Diner experience.
Breakfast was good and the waitress was friendly. Nothing fancy, but with choices being very slim in this town, I have no problem recommending this place.
Loved the place. Nice friendly people working there. Down home cooking. Prices were more than resonable. Recommend it to anyone.
It's a Roadside Diner in a small town, it's exactly what you would expect. The food is okay but the pie is delicious. Food is three stars, pie is five stars
