Nice Independent Hotel known for large rooms and comfortable chairs. I have stayed there at various times during the past 25 years and I would highly recommend it.
Not perfect... But perfect for what we needed. Only room they had left was a suite. It was very spacious. Beds were comfortable and clean. Very nice! Not too pricey for what we got. The staff was very friendly. Thanks Sofia. I would definitely stay here again.
Sweet Motel!!! Basic and clean. Good bed with a real quilt. Nice towels. You can tell that they care about this motel - the room was very well maintained. Close to a couple of restaurants and a store (we walked).
The room was clean and this is in a better part of town. The property is well maintained. In summer there are patio tables where you can sit and talk or smoke. The major downside was that if you are on the bottom floor, anyone walking above will sound like a herd of elephants. It woke me up several times, and I am a heavy sleeper. Having said that, I would much rather be in this section of town. We drove through the area near the Jailhouse Casino, and it did not seem like a safe area.
Unexpectedly ended up in the town of Ely, NV during a road trip from CA. I arrived later in the evening and needed a last minute room just for the night. There were several Motels/Hotels to choose from, but I decided to check out the Bristlecone Motel after reading so many great reviews about it. Glad I did. I got a nice one bed bedroom for less than $80. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. I would stay at the Bristlecone Motel again.
