Best place to get groceries in town, not that there are many other options. Good enough selection but the produce can be very hit-or-miss with slim pickings at times. Also, be aware of the expiration dates on things like milk.

Deplorable for being a chain store and the only real grocery store in town. Item shortages are a constant, especially bread, milk, and other staples. Another constant? Employee turnover. Not hard to see why with the "fresh" produce being anything but most of the time, alcohol costs on average twice the cost outside of town, filthy floors and shelves, and large pot holes all over the parking lot. Be prepared to get vehicle hit from a rogue cart that almost never get put away from shoppers or picked up by employees. Most locals make a 2-1/2 to 3 hour trek out of town for groceries rather than shop at this store.
It has most everything you could need and that is so important for a town like Ely, where the next largest town is over an hour away.
