Sidenote: the most recent visit there was no running water due to over use, however this was offset by the fact they cut all camping costs to 50% !
A beautiful, well maintained campground by the state. Lots of mature juniper and privacy between sites. Easy access front 50 or 6.
Very nice campground up in the hills. Facilities appear to be renewed as all sites have looks like brand new stove/fire pit/tables. Water is off due to Winter, Dry camping excellent sites. Close to Ely, NV, can be a little windy at times.
Great renovation done on this campground. Stayed overnight. Loved the hiking trails. Spacious sites. Clean facilities.
Great camping for a good price. All camp sites have leveled gravel spots for tents. Metal permanent fire pits. Charcoal grills, and gas stove metal tables. Wooden picnic tables were also in great condition and the bathrooms were the most immaculate I've ever seen at a campground. The only reason this place doesn't get a 5 star is the lack of showers. Add that and this place will easily be a 5 star camp location.
This is a great campground. It is very neat and clean. The facilities are great. It is just a little bit from Ely. They used to have water but it was off this summer (2017). It still is one of best places to stop and camp. I would recommend it fully!
